The region

Welcome to the beautiful viticultural region of Niagara! Our town, Niagara-on-the-Lake, was voted the prettiest town in Canada in 1996 by Communities in Bloom, a Canadian organisation having as its main focus the enhancement of green spaces in communities.

A short ten minute walk away from our doorsteps, you will find yourself on the breathtaking shore of Lake Ontario, in Ryerson Park. Definitely a local favorite spot. You are more than welcome to come with us as we walk Kelly there almost every day in the summer time. You will enjoy magnificent sunsets on the lake with the Queen City of Canada, Toronto, standing tall directly across the waters, reflecting the quiet golden rays. Quite a spectacle!

Of course, you cannot visit Niagara-on-the-Lake without exploring the charming downtown area. Filled with ‘’one of a kind’’ boutiques and restaurants, the beautifully landscaped Queen Street will take you back in time with its proudly conserved British influence and its many historical landmarks. First, you can visit St-Mark’s church, the oldest Anglican Church in Ontario and after that quiet time, go have a shot at the oldest golf course in North America. Have a classy afternoon while enjoying the High Tea at the Prince of Wales Vintage Hotel before going out to see a play at one of the three Shaw Festival theatres. After all that excitement, take a moment for yourself and relax at one of the local spas before heading out for dinner in a renowned vineyard. Finally, put a beautiful ending to that day by going to see the fireworks over the Niagara Falls: a mesmerizing experience! There is definitely enough to do to in our beautiful region to keep you occupied!
